Strategy & Operations Lead at Found.

I work at Found, which builds banking, bookkeeping, and tax tools for people who work for themselves. I've been there since 2022, working on customer insights, growth, account management, and marketing compliance.

Before Found I ran product at Villa, co-founded a small fund that backed UC Berkeley students with income share agreements, and spent five years at Bain.

I grew up in the Bay Area and still live here.

Experience

Strategy & Operations Lead · Found

2022 – Present · San Francisco

I started on customer insights: interviewing customers, studying our highest-value ones, and keeping a running feed on competitors. Some product ideas came straight from those interviews, including a way of splitting deposits that ecommerce sellers had worked out for themselves.

I joined the growth team in 2024 and helped lead account management through 2025, a team we built from scratch to call our most promising new customers. These days I work on growth measurement, AI search, and marketing compliance, and I build most of the internal tools behind them.

I also moonlight as a product manager. I helped take Found's subscription product from idea through launch; it passed ~$150K in ARR five months in.

Head of Product · Villa

2020 – 2022 · San Francisco

Ran product, design, and engineering at California's largest prefab ADU builder, starting as Director of Product and becoming Head of Product. Prefab revenue grew from zero to $50M annualized. We built an online configurator that let customers design a backyard home and see the real price without talking to a salesperson.

Co-founder · Florian

2019 · San Francisco

Raised $300K from LPs to back about 30 UC Berkeley students with income share agreements: money up front, repaid as a share of income after graduation.

Consultant · Bain & Company

2014 – 2019 · San Francisco

Joined out of undergrad and was promoted twice, to Senior Associate Consultant and then Consultant. I sized a $10B+ market for a new product at a Fortune 500 software company, ran ten private equity due diligences, redesigned a Fortune 50 retailer's loyalty program, found 12% of cost savings at a national gym chain, and rebuilt digital marketing for a large ecommerce retailer.

Head of Business Development · The House

2016 – 2017 · Berkeley

Took a six-month externship from Bain to be employee #3 at a seed-stage fund backing Berkeley-affiliated startups. Closed partnerships with five Fortune 500 companies, adding $300K a year in revenue and about 30% more operating capital.

Product Marketing Intern · Microsoft

2013 · Redmond

Helped plan how Microsoft would get developers building apps for Windows 8.
